A1 Hotel Riga City Center

The Room for two was clean and spacious. Airconditioning worked really good And was awesome to have when it was 30 C outside. The staff was polite And helpful. We got our Room 1-2 hours before check in Time which was really nice. We were alle to leave our heavy luggages to The storage Room before check in And after check out while waiting for our bus to another destination. Downstairs bar was pretty cheap but there wasn't AC so there was pretty warm. The public areas were kept really clean and Room was cleaned Every Day. Breakfast was included And pretty good.

It is neither an expensive nor a low-cost property, but it may be considered just a shade more priced than a low-cost accommodation. It may not be the best hotel in the area, but it's absolutely one of the ones with the lowest price/quality ratio. The location is very good: it's in the heart of the city centre, and from the hotel it's possible to reach most landmarks and the train and coach stations. Apart from the building itself with a cafeteria and restaurant, there are many dining spots around the hotel. Receptionists were welcoming. The check-in and checkout processes were very rapid. My room was big and clean enough. My bed was comfortable. Air conditioning worked perfectly. The wireless Internet connection was good enough. The breakfast service was satisfactory. The housekeeper made my room.

Everything was good and matched our expectations, we happened to get a room with AC that actually even exceeded our expectations as we thought they didn't have such rooms at all. Asked for a twin -> got twin. Simple breakfast, nothing to complain about. Might be a turnoff for someone that there's no elevator but the hotel indicated that clearly from the get-go so it wasn't an issue for us. Great budget option!

This is not the highest rated hotel I've been ever, but the price can easy explain it. The most important things are decent here: the room was clean, the location if really good, awesome european breakfast (for this price) and, first of all, nice and really pleasant staff! Due to a public transport issue we had to leave the hotel 1 hour before the start of breakfast time (smth around 6 a.m.), but we were kindly able to have a wonderful breakfast and hence a great day ahead. The hotel is easy to find (mind you, I know Riga quite well), it's a walking distance from bus and railway station, and also the bus stop to the airport is not that far. The room was big enough and had everything I needed. The breakfast was good, offered a great choice of food, nice and clean eating area. Checking in was easy and quick
